Independent testing has confirmed BELTAPPO, which is free of polymer breakdown, due to high temperatures and pressure within the bottle. BELTAPPO is able to maintain its features unchanged

Material
BELTAPPO is a bottle closure made from a thermoplastic high grade synthetic material, utilizing FDA approved resins, oils and food grade silicone. BELTAPPO does not crumble or leave dust particles in the wine bottleneck. In addition, the manufacturing process guarantees excellent factory sterilization. We use a state-of-the-art liquid foaming agent. All materials are inert, eliminating the risk of a plastic taste to the wine. The problems of corkiness or cork taint in your wine using BELTAPPO have now been eliminated. Can be completely recycled.

Measurements

Weights: 6.1-7.2 grams.
Diameter: 22mm for still wines, 23mm for bottlenecks over 18mm, and 24mm for Sparkling or Frizzante wines & natural Muscats.
Length: 38mm and 42mm are standard. Any length or diameter can be ordered, subject to minimum quantities.

Pressure Resistance
Independent testing has confirmed that BELTAPPO Sparkling Wine Corks (24mm) are able to hold from 2 - 3 bars of pressure when bottling sparkling wine like Frizzante or Crackling wines such as natural Muscat's. BELTAPPO Champagne Corks are able to hold from 6 - 8 bars pressure.

Isolation Properties
BELTAPPO has independently demonstrated its ability to eliminate oxygen penetration. This ability is greater than that offered by the highest quality natural bark cork. When using BELTAPPO closures, your wine can be bottled with minimum SO2 levels.

Contamination
BELTAPPO is a microbiologically inert material, which eliminates cork taint and contamination of the wine in addition to being impregnable to molds and bacteria.

Extraction
Extraction levels are between 26 - 38kgs, similar to natural cork. BELTAPPO can be removed with a traditional corkscrew.

Compression, Memory
Following extraction BELTAPPO will return to: 90% of size after 1 minute, 1 hour 92% of size, 1 day 94% of size.

Color
BELTAPPO is available in natural cork color, sand, bleached white, yellow, red, black, blue,burgundy, navy blue, green, brown or any color requested. Subject to minimum quantities.

Printing
Closures may be ordered plain or printed with a client monogram.

Embossing
Closures and t-tops may be embossed to enhance your packaging.

Packaging
1,000 closures per bag. 2,000 per carton. Carton size is 16 x 16 x 16.

Bottling
BELTAPPO is suitable for bottling with all standard bottling methods.
