Beltappo Creates New Embossed Wine Corks
Bainbridge Island, WA, January 12, 2004 -- Beltappo Inc. announces the ability to emboss a client's logo on the top and bottom of Beltappo synthetic wine and sparkling wine corks, creating a new industry standard. Wineries can not guarantee which end of the cork is up after insertion therefore, it is necessary to emboss both ends to insure the embossed end is visible. Beltappo T-top corks can also be embossed on the cap and provides similar benefits to the distiller. "Our objective in creating the embossed cork feature was twofold, to provide a marketing opportunity for our clients to further brand their product and to remove the production costs of applying wax and foil labels to the tops of corks" said, John S Belforte II, President and CEO of Beltappo, Inc. "Embossing the top and bottom of the cork is a very cost effective way for a winery to reduce bottling production costs and contribute to the product brand", said Belforte.
