Champagne Closures
On the left, you can see a diagram that illustrates important features of the Beltappo Champagne Closure design:
Beltappo Champagne Corks are produced with state of the art, Single Injection Technology. This produces a uniform cork consistent in shape, size, weight and with a cellular construction free of air pockets, holes or voids. Beltappo quality standards provide vintners a cork, with consistent quality insertion, extraction and sealing. Beltappo Champagne Corks hold 6-8 bars of pressure.
On the left, you can see a diagram that illustrates important features of the Beltappo Champagne Closure design:
- Champagne Closure in its original shape
- Once inserted into the bottle, it allows for a perfect seal. This is the result of the upper part of the closure sealing the external bottle neck surface
- The lower part of the closure, inside the bottleneck, finds its natural shape, in order to avert 'popping up'.
- Other features of Beltappo Champagne
corks are:
- Bi-directional cork, with a flat bottom on ends, for ease in bottling
- For use with traditional wire hoods
- No leakage, cork taint, particle and dust contamination, breakage or loss of pressure
- Available in natural, standard colors and custom pantone colors
- Traditional Mushroom head when extracted, with that familiar "pop"
- Extracted with the traditional "two thumbs"
- Follows the general rule for Champagne closures: for safety of the person opening the bottle, after removal of the wire hood the cork will remain in the bottle for at least 30 seconds before exploding.
